Wild Barn Yarn, is a dream come true for me. I have taken my love of sheep and mixed it with my professional knowledge of wild fiber to create a series of unusual fiber blends. The wool for this yarn was grown on our small family farm, carefully skirted and then mill processed. The yarn is natural colored (un-dyed), using the many colors of the CVM-Romeldale sheep to create a vast array of color shades.
You will see blends of bison, yak, camel, angora rabbits and hopefully soon musk ox. At times I will use our guard Llamas for fiber and our angora rabbits. Check back often to see what we are working on.
